Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, and seating them
- Assist the dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested
- Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and document patient care and treatment plans
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain dental equipment and ensure a clean and sterile environment
- Manage patient flow to optimize dentist's time and maintain schedules

Experience:

- Experience with imaging systems
- Proficiency in taking vital signs
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation
- Ability to work with dental software such as easy dental
- Understanding of infection control protocols
